Since I got my Saradomin sword, things have been pretty good for me strength-training wise. I'm earning exp faster than ever, with about 900 - 1000 exp per min (up from a measley 700). It really is a godsend. I've said that before once and didn't realise the pun I made, but I just realised I made a pun.
Also I've stopped training Slayer completely. I thought my basilisk task was good because I wouldn't be able to wield my Sara (and so it would be available to rent out to people) but then earning 15k/hr in place of fast strength exp isn't worth it this point of time.
Though, in a week of renting, I've made about 350k. Pretty easy money I would say, but it will take me a long time if I ever want to earn back the 8.9 million gp I spent on it. And with so many idiots calling me a scammer or having trade limits of 3 frickin' thousand it's getting tougher to continue the renting.
Still I am content with my 350k because it is like free monies.

So I've Done Some Stuff..
.. In the last two months. Sorry for the total lack of updates, but feast your eyes on some screenshots that summarizes my Runescape activity since my absence from this blog!

I died while doing Smoking Kills but no matter! I like the new Slayer points system. I have since gotten 65 slayer, up from 48 (I think). Anyway after the death I decided not to buy my obby cape back so now I wear a red team cape.

Me and Dl getting our Ahrim's Staff after completing Desert Treasure.

Me almost completing Garden of Tranquility.

At the Weekly Clan wars every Saturday (Friday for some others).

I saw this auto-er getting owned by Cap'n Hand. Hahaha.

Since item lending came out, I've borrowed a Saradomin Sword from Tiz and a yellow party hat from Tim.

Yeahh.

Oh and we kinda spammed our clan name to Zezima.
Also I have bypassed a lot of my 99 strength deadlines with 95 strength! I plan to get 99 strength in August, at this rate I'm going, it will take me about 40 days. I'm quite proud of myself because it is painful to endure hours training at the dropless spiders. "No lifer nerd!" Meh.
I've decided to get myself a Saradomin Sword, after experiencing its powers thanks to Tiz. Its price has begun rising again so this morning I put up an offer for max price. If it sells, I will be left with about 600k, but I don't mind because it seems like a good investment. Plus if it goes back to it's former glory of 11 mil, I will be able to make a 3 mil profit and not forgetting the strength exp I'll be getting.

Ninety Nine and Reminiscent
Just now I saw Tiz with his new 3-digit combat level. Congratulations Tiz! I'm very happy for you, truly I am, but it's a matter of 4 days (I predict!) that I catch up. Hehe naw just joking, it will be in 2 days.
Seeing a good friend get a 3 digit combat level is quite... er.. memory triggering. I remember some years back when I discovered Tim had gotten the big one-double-o, I was so shocked. To me, the extreme elite of Runescape were those who had 100+ combat. I remember when I just started, my only goal in Runescape was to get to 100 combat. Imagine the possibilities! You could call everyone a noob!
Well I am very close to 100 in P2P now, I'm sure my strength level would provide the small boost I need to ditch the 99, eh hehehe.
My 99 journey has been a truly long one. I kept on getting bored with Rs, but hey I was F2P , who could blame me. Once, after a long hiatus, my friend took me to the giant's den to meet his friend, who was in his 70s. We talked about getting bored on Rs, and he said to me, "Wait till you get to my level". Yeah.. I always remember irrelevant moments like this. Another example would be, I was walking in my old school when I happily thought to myself "Yay I'm level 50".
Then there came the period Rs was starting to get permanantly stale. I was about level 70, ready to succumb to the words of the friend's friend, when Tiz suggested we start a clan together with his friend Formi. I was under the impression that it would be just us 3 in the clan. I was very reluctant when Tiz suggested we make a clan forum, who knew it'd turn out to be my Runescape sustainer! Well, part of it anyway.
On the first and third day (I think) of our clan forum, Demon-girl66 and Demonloard9 popped out from nowhere, and both of them stayed with us since. Talk about beginner's luck yeah. When we went into our first year as Blessings, a lot of 'tards came and went. A few of them were, however, arguably less-stupid, and we now know them as clan members. Just kidding guys. You're all not that stupid. No don't leave the clan I was just messing.
Ah, back then we had a level 40, and the load of us were level 60. Now we're all aiming at 99 stats, and most of us are in custody of the Vortex God. It's hard not to look back and gasp loudly at how far we've come.

God Wars Dungeon
Hello guests! Today, Blessings went for our first ever God Wars dungeon trip. To be honest I wasn't very keen a few days before the event, because I knew there was a very real chance of me dieing and losing my whip etc etc. Luckily everyone was very enthusiastic about to the event and that ultimately made me go.
Tiz came over before the event as well, and we took about a full hour to prepare. Of course, I was distracted a couple of times and Tiz had to go get a Zammy cape. Thankfully I had the mind to buy my Verac's armour set in the morning and get my defence to 70 so I could wear it. Otherwise, I probably would have been quite late.
I believe this is the first time in the history of Blessings we were on time for an event, even though there were just a few last-minute problems that delayed our timing by about 10 minutes.
So we were there, climbing the mountain to Trollheim, not knowing when to turn prayer on, and hands sweaty and shaky. Pretty soon we reached the dungeon and started our 40 kill counts.
When we first arrived, Tiz and I were practically shouting "WHERE'S MATT! WHERE'S MATT!" and Tim was shouting back "NORTH, GO NORTH" and we were shouting back "WHERE, WHERE NORTH!" and then "OH YEAH THERE OKAY I GOT IT". The 40 kill count was more fun than I expected, the way we all turned to whip a newly-respawned hobgoblin and killed it in an instant.
Soon, we got our kill counts, had a small briefing by Matt, and trooped down to Graardor (I think that's his name). I was quite frantic because I had no idea what the **** we were supposed to do next (as Tim said, "There will definitely be morons who forget"). Thankfully I got on quick and soon we were into our fifth Graardor kill. Till then I had only gotten bones and some chaos runes.
It came as a shocker. I was expecting me to not get anything again but then I saw delightful green words that said I just got 2.5mil. I screamed over to Tiz, who said he got the same thing. By then Tim had gotten his share too, and the whole house was flooded with our cheering. Tiz and I were quite reluctant to fight again lest we die, but we fought on once more.. I wish we didn't...
...Because we didn't get anything! Haha got you there you no good sadist.
However there is one horrible thing that came from the trip. Matt thought the drop would go straight to the GE and didn't look at the floor, so he missed his 2.5 mil. Tim told us later he went crazy for a while, but who can blame him. Poor fellow. Don't worry Matt, there'll be a next time where we get a ton of money and you pick it up too :D
I leave you now with some screenies. There is one video currently, you can find the link on our forums.

New Test Results
For those of you who give Jagex a sum of money every month and want to train combat, here's the place for you!
As you know, loyal reader, I've been training with the ogres (east of Castle Wars) since 78 strength. Last time I conducted tests to find out how much exp I get per minute with these ogres with 79 strength and a dragon long, and I got an average of 469 strength exp. However since upgrading my levels and weapon, I now get a whopping 263% more exp than before! No just kidding I wasn't that sure how to calculate the percentage.
So, with:
85 strength
71 attack
A dragon scimitar
I get an average of 565.7 strength exp per minute while training on the ogres on top of the hill. It used to be 469 with a dragon long and 78 (around there anyway) strength.
Anyway the real news is this; when training at the ogres below the hill (the more grassy area closest to the moat) I got a whole lot more exp than when I trained with the ogres on the top of the hill. It's probably because the ogres at the bottom are aggresive (they attack you before you attack them).
Under the same conditions (except location) I got an average of 642.4 strength exp per minute. Also for you summoning junkies - the ogres here drop charms. However the area here is more often than not more crowded than the ogres at the top of the hill. The availability of the ogres is a very important key in the rate at which you gain exp (you can get as low as 200 exp per minute without a constant supply of them) so if there are 3 people hogging the ogres at the bottom of the hill don't bother staying.
Getting there is also very easy. Just tele to Castle Wars (made easy with a ring of dueling), cross the bridge heading south and walk east. If all else fails, check your map. People should really learn to do this, y'know.

Are You Cheap?
Are you cheap? Since I started playing Runescape in April 2004 I have never not picked up drops. Ever.
If I kill something I definitely would pick up the drops. In extremely rare circumstances that I feel I should not take the drop (e.g. I am almost dying and damn monkeys are attacking me) I will have a short debate with myself on whether I should head back and get the drop.
Also while farming, I always always pick up all my harvests, and if possible, other people's unwanted harvests. Except weeds, though. I always take them even if it means having to make a bank trip so I have space to harvest that last tomato from the plot.
I think it is partially because killing monsters provided 99% of my income when I was F2P. I've only merchanted once, it was rune armour, and I did a horrible job at it. 1 hour in the bank and no buyers, so I had to sell it back at original price. Of course that was before the GE came out. Anyway recently, I bought rune armour because I thought I might need it for a quest but didn't in the end. So, I went to put it at the GE for 2k more than I got it for. There were no buyers after quite a bit, so I sold it back at original price as before.
However since recently I had some success with the market - ranarr farming. First time in my life I saw my money double itself almost overnight (if you don't count the days I spent farming all 50 seeds). Soon I wasn't walking from Varrock to Ardougne anymore (yep, twice, and then back!). Nope, I was using actual law runes to tele.
Since making my first profit from selling ranarrs, I've been rolling in dough. Well not really, but I had the freedom to purchase a whip whenever I wanted, and still have money left over. The last time I spent on something so extravagant was when I bought my rune (t) armour. It cost me 1 mil, and I felt the heart ache for a few days. With the whip, I felt it for 2 minutes.
And then came on my discovery of selling my crap every once in a while. I could make a good 100k each time for doing so, and it comes as often as once every 3 days. Soon I began teleing to Ardougne from Catherby (I would have considered it sinful to do so previously, I mean come on they're just next to each other) and using my duelling rings without a thought of consideration first.
However the last time I sold a batch of ranarrs (I sell them 250 at a time) was on 23rd February, a good month ago. The prices of seeds have soared (last time I checked anyway) and I decided to stop the farming for a while and concentrate on a previous money-making scheme failure - toadflax seeds.
Ah well, I still live on my sold crap (big bones mostly, from the ogres I've been fighting since the last I could remember), and it's very good for me considering my standards of money-making. I don't believe I will ever become a crazy party hat dealing mogul with 999 million in my bank and always leaving my drops on the floor. No, may the cheapness be within me forever.
So to answer my question, yes I am cheap.

Tadah!

Recently I've been getting bored of strength training (omg!) so every couple thousand strength exp I would go out into the world and muck about. I've finally gotten over the blue dragons and completed a few slayer assignments and the worst assignment ever soon turned out to be the most eventful!
Here's how it went. I got my slayer assignment at Burthorpe, and it was a whopping 15 dwarves. Immediately I head to the route between Falador and Barb Village because I almost got killed there when I was a certain level slightly above 10 by this pesky dwarf. I go back to Taverly and see about 50 people there. I recall someone saying there would be a 99 summoning party at Taverly so I realise that was it. I couldn't really be bothered UNTIL I saw some guys talking about Zezima as if he were there. My kathy-senses tingled and from countless source-based questions at History I inferred that Zezima was there.
I start shifting my mouse rapidly to see if I could spot a level 135. My right mouse button had never seen such action. Even though I was really panicky between the clicking and the screaming at my family that Zezima was right there, oh goodness Zezima's right there, holy shit he's actually here, I finally find him.

Roflmao
Whoa guest I saw Zezima! The Zezima. And when I say the I mean thee. Also there was this other guy that I saw after completing my assignment, Massaslayer. I've never heard of him but there were a bunch of people following him too so I thought, why not.

Yesterday Tiz came over and with Tim and Dg, we went KBD hunting. It was terribly fun, except the last part when Tiz died :( . I was complaining about not getting anything after 2 kills when I realised you had to turn LootShare on before you could use it (lol). During our second trip (I think) 2 people came, one 75 and one other I forgot. They started killing our KBD too so it became a contest to see who would get the kill, to which Tiz commented, "It's now a battle for pride," and yes it really was. The first round Blessings got the kill and me, Tim and Tiz were screaming in triumph.
We would later create the tension for a flame war but it would never come because the other party was quite impotent with the replies. Once he hit a 40 and said "My 40", so Tim said "Ur mom" (we 3 burst out with laughter) but he didn't say anything. Pffft.

Poor Tiz, he lost his stuff in the end.
Surprisingly I also did quests, one alone and the other with Tiz. What Lies Below was extremely easy and just the way I like it.

Poor experiment. Gave me a good laugh though.
I've also been farming. Just today I put up 250 ranarrs on the GE and so far three quarters of it has been sold. Well I leave you now with a picture of a rare accident while farming.
