Where Do We Go Now

But what is one to do after 99 strength? I definitely feel relieved that I've finally achieved this long term goal; I thoroughly enjoy logging on to Runescape and not knowing what to do next, it's the same feeling when I first got membership.

The first few days after 99 strength, I no-lifed fishing. It was more fun than I thought, plus my Ss was rented out almost the whole time I was there. Eventually I got 76 fishing.


Excellent.

Then I went to catch sharks and to my horror I did not have the cooking level required to cook them. Mr Gower, you sly fox.

So I put down my harpoon and did a random quest.

Then I went for my clan's weekly clan wars.


We lost that one terribly.

After that, I got a slayer assignment. Jellies! Excellent. This was my chance to get that clue scroll I desired. So I access my bank, and I see that there's a lovely piece of Black Dragonhide legs waiting to be worn. What's this? Only 51 range?! Perhaps I should get 60 so I can at least wear the red ones.

The Cape of Fawesomeness

I'm 2 days late but I finally got 99 strength! T'was a beautiful day.









Since getting the level, I've been fishing and loaning out my Sara sword. I want to get 76 fishing so I can catch sharks, then perhaps I'll embark on another quest or head to the jellies to try and get me a clue scroll.

Or maybe I'll do slayer.

The possibilities are endless!

More than Halfway Halfway

Last time I was "halfway" to 99 strength I was level 93. That's the real halfway mark. But now I'm about 60% to 99 (a mere 470k as we speak).

Anyway I'm definitely getting a hitpoints level as my 1337th level, so I plan to make my 99th strength my 1339th level, because it looks slightly better than 1338. But still! Oh why did I have to get those bloody useless levels like summoning and crafting. And runecrafting! Dammit!

So that day I had a taste of what 99 strength would be like. I was a few thousand away from 98 strength, and I decided to hop onto my friend Kmb's world to get it. He's F2P so I was pretty much naked except for a rune chestplate.

I think I should have my 99 party on Tuesday, that should give me sufficient time to get the exp I need. I really want to get my level at spiders (level 3 of the Stronghold of Security) but it'll be very messy with a big group of people. Plus the aggressive spiders will be trying to get a hit at everyone.

Maybe I'll end up having just one person with me getting the level and then the whole group when I get my cape (exhibit A: Tim). Ah yes speaking of the cape, I must find out who I can get it from.

Junkyard Spacegarden

Since getting 98 strength I've kinda slacked a bit on my training. I planned for my absolute 99 strength day to be on the 31st of August but now I think I'll be getting it in early September, quite convenient for me since I'll have a week off school then.

At this point I have about 1 million more exp till 99, which means if I stick to my schedule I'll have it in 10 days but I never stick to schedules.

It's gona be a bitch planning a 99 party. Maybe I'll just get those lucky people who are online at the time of my almost-99 to come.

99 At Last!

Nah, not mine. But Dg's! Today she got her 99 range at Tim's house. Congrats again Dg.

Aw Nuts

I don't think I'll be able to make my 99th strength level also my 1337th total level anymore.

Here's the thing, I have 97 strength and 1334 total levels now. Assuming I don't level anything other than strength, I will have 1336 total levels with 99 strength. That leaves me with 1 more level I can screw around with, and my hitpoints is awfully close to a level (90k more).

Unless.. there's still hope! But I can't be bothered to calculate it this early. Oh well, we'll just have to see when the time comes.

The Things That Amuse Me

T'was a lazy Sunday playing Runescape/Sim City/cycling yesterday. In the morning, I decided to do something different and went to complete my Lumbridge/Draynor tasks.




My first time on this money-making gimmick.

Nothing much to completing all 3 levels of the tasks, except maybe a shitload of bank trips, seeing how forgetful I am at these things. Anyway I thought the Explorer's Ring would come in very handy in the near future till I almost friggin' low alched my Ss.

It was after one of those sewer suicides, I was putting back on my stuff. I did this whole fast-action clicking thing so I could get back to killing spiders asap, when I clicked on my ring and then my Ss, AND THEN I REALISED THE OPTION SAID 'Choose item to low alch' or something to that extent, I damn near jumped out my chair. I look over to my beautiful Ss and it was still there. The 'Choose item to low alch' or something to that extent still lingered on the top left corner of my screen. I was so relieved that I missed the Ss in my flurry of clicks. I immediately dumped the ring back into the bank and replaced it with my Ring of Dueling (5).

Anyway with that over, I went back to train and got...


In time for clan wars too!

I'm so close to 99 I can already taste it.

Recently, I've seen some interesting weapons/headgear I would wish to know the names of.


What is that knarly helmet he's wearing? No just kidding I mean his weapon.


What is that hat's name!

Apart from that, I also find the new 'Choose the stat you wish to be advanced' window oversized.


I really don't like the childish feel this thing gives out. I understand there are new, young players who can't be f***ed to read and follow the tutorial island's instructions carefully (enter Lumbridge guides) but not all of us are retarded.

Oh well moving on. That day I saw this awesome guy with an awesome name.



Didn't talk to him though. All I could do was stand back and gaze at the name. I wish I could change my Rs name. It would be "The Froo". I know I have this Gunz account that's called Froo. How 1337. And speaking of 1337, I plan to make my 99 strength also my 1337th total level.
